Q: When do I scan myself?

A: All employees, visitors and guests shall scan themselves immediately upon entry. The scanners are mounted very close to each doorway and take less than 1 second to scan your forehead. Note - scanning is MANDATORY for all who enter.

Q: How does it work?

A: You simply stand about an arm length away from the unit and ensure your head is aligned within the onscreen “target.” The unit is equipped with a non-contact temp scanner and audible and visual results will display in about 1 second.

Q: Do I have to scan myself each time I enter the building no?

A: No, just initially. The scanner will then announce either, "Temperature Normal" or alert you that you have a high temperature.

Q: What do I do if I trigger a high temperature alarm?

A: There are signboards adjacent to each scanner which explain the process, but in short - you'd call either Brian Carra or Bridget Bozzi's cell phone and immediately leave the building.

Q: Are these tied to the network and is my personal data, i.e. temperature, safe and secure?

A: These scanners are stand alone units and are NOT tied to either the wired network or wifi.

Q: If my Manager is not taking my temperature everyday, how would you know if I'm in the building for contact tracing?

A: You will still be required to do a short wellness check with your manager daily, "No symptoms and no exposures." It is especially important that all employees scan their key fob daily as the key fob record WILL BE the official record for contact tracing. We will use the Envoy Visitor login to contact any potentially affected visitors.
