Employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis for the two weeks prior to the week in which payment occurs. Your pay statement contains a detailed report of your rate(s) of pay, hours worked in the relevant time period (if non-exempt), as well as appropriate taxes and deductions. The Company is required by law to make deductions for Social Security, federal, state and local income taxes as applicable, court-ordered garnishments, as well as premiums for applicable state/city family leave policies. Pay statements also itemize any voluntary deductions such as an employee’s portion of health, dental, or life insurance premiums and/or voluntary contributions to a 401(k) plan.
For each paycheck or direct deposit, the employee will be able to download a statement on ADP showing hours worked, hourly rate (non-exempt employees) or bi-weekly salary (exempt employees), gross pay, itemized deductions, and net pay.
You are expected to review your pay statement for accuracy. If an error is discovered, you should promptly report it to Payroll@gerbertechnology.com.
